Sponsored hairdo by O'inno hair salon and 17 Magazine

So I was supposed to be updating my blog previously on what I was doing during my holidays, lovely food, fun outings and all that crap. However I never got around to doing it because I am just blatantly lazy to do so.I will update it sooner or later, and leaving you to salivate. But before I do so, I shall update about this.

Last Monday, I received a phone call from Adlina. Adlina happened to be a beauty writer for 17 Magazine. This is how she obtained my number. During my college holidays, Jolene had to go down to Blu Inc media to receive a prize of gold facial anti-aging products from Female Magazine. Somehow or another, we received information that it was also the casting day for 17. We decided to go ahead and try it out just for the fun of it.

I never expected to receive any call. Honestly. So I was a bit shocked when Adlina called me. She asked me if I was game to try out something with my hair like having permanent big curls. I was pretty gamed, since I was actually thinking of doing something with my frizzy curly hair. And I did want to do curls, however my hairdresser was pretty against the idea. She actually recommended rebonding but didn't want it to be too straight.

So I went to the O'inno hair salon in TTDI today. Also thanks to LOO E JEN for fetching me there. I met Adlina there and boy, was she one of the nicest columnist ever.

Fast forward, it turned out I didn't get the curls that was initially the plan. However instead of curls, I got my hair straightened by O'inno. Long story on how that happened. It was totally unexpected and I was a bit shocked. There was no rebonding which thankfully I'm not really too enthusiastic about that. (Idea of stick straight hair does remind me of Chinese lala girls. Though no offence to all Chinese girls. I do know some who looks pretty good in straight hair. ).

I was a bit chagrin at first because I felt completely hypocritical. I did always went against the idea of having my hair permanently straightened. But most of all I felt hypocritical because I told some of my friends that I never wanted to straighten my hair. (because once you straighten or dye, you have to continuously do it at times.) And I sort of like wavy hair. But it didn't turn out really bad as well. It was different. And best of all it WASN'T STICK STRAIGHT!

Plus when I think about it again after tweeting and deleting tweets: Change is good. And the hair do was sponsored. So thank you O'inno and thank you Adlina!

I know I am the most contradicting, hypocritical creature ever. You can look at me and turn away in disgust.
